YEREVAN, APRIL 4, ARMENPRESS: The five films that received grants at the 7th “Golden Apricot” film festival during the Armenian-Turkish film-platform are participating in the 30th international film festival in Istanbul. Art director of “Golden Apricot” Susanna Harutyunyan told Armenpress that Diana Kardumyan’s “Galata”, Kanai Ozden’s “Puppet Theatre”, Gyulengyul Altintas’ “Don’t disappear, children!”, Artur Sukiasyan’s “Master of Doves” and Gor Baghdasaryan’s “Neighbors” films will be presented April 12 at Pera museum.
“The presentation of these films is very important as they are Armenian-oriented and are full with right ideology,” Susanna Harutyunyan said, adding that such initiatives encourage the young people to work.
Immediately after showing the films, “Anadolu Cultur” company will organize a soiree dedicated to the films of the Armenian-Turkish film platform.
In parallel with the festival, April 10-13, with the assistance of the “Eurasia” Partnership Foundation and “Anadolu Cultur”, class for the assistance to the Armenian-Turkish film platform production will take place for the Armenian and Turkish film figures.
The 30th Istanbul festival launched April 1 and will continue till April 17.
